Bulelwa Mkutukana, known professionally as Zahara, was a South African singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Born on November 9, 1987, in East London, South Africa, she gained widespread recognition for her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics.

Her debut album, “Loliwe,” released in 2011, was a massive commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies in just a few weeks. The album’s title track, “Loliwe,” became a national anthem, and Zahara quickly became a household name.
