Sheebah Karungi, often referred to as the “Queen Karma,” is a Ugandan musician, dancer, actress, and feminist activist. Born on November 11, 1989, in Kawempe, Kampala, she has become one of the most influential female artists in East Africa.
Sheebah’s career began as a dancer, but she later transitioned to music. Her breakthrough came with the release of her hit single “Ice Cream” in 2014. Since then, she has released numerous successful songs, including “Ninda,” “Nakyuka,” and “Twesana.” She is known for her powerful vocals, energetic performances, and bold fashion sense.
Beyond her music career, Sheebah is also an actress. She made her film debut in the 2016 Disney movie “Queen of Katwe,” playing the role of Shakira. She is also a vocal advocate for women’s rights and empowerment.
