Oxlade, whose real name is Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on April 22, 1997, in Surulere, Lagos.1 He gained recognition with the release of his song “Away” in 2020, which was included in Rolling Stone’s 50 best songs of that year.2
Oxlade’s musical journey began in his childhood, influenced by his upbringing in a musical family.
