Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known by his stage name D’banj, is a Nigerian musician, singer, songwriter, rapper, entrepreneur, and television1 personality. Born on June 9, 1980, in Lagos, Nigeria, he is often referred to as the “Kokomaster.”
D’banj rose to fame in the early 2000s with hit songs like “Tongolo,” “Fall in Love,” and “Oliver Twist.” He was a member of the Mo’ Hits Records group with Don Jazzy. After the group’s dissolution, D’banj established his own record label, DB Records.
D’banj’s music is a blend of Afrobeat, R&B, and hip-hop. He is known for his energetic performances, catchy melodies, and charismatic personality. He has collaborated with international artists such as Snoop Dogg and Kanye West.
